Roasted Cauliflower Steak with Tahini Sauce
Have you ever heard of Cauliflower Steaks? That’s right—it’s the big trend right now! This dish is not only surprisingly tasty but also offers a texture and flavor profile that will leave you craving more. And you don’t have to be a vegetarian to enjoy it!
I must admit that this dish piqued my curiosity, so I decided to give it a try, and the result is AMAZING AND DELICIOUS! Cauliflower steak is made by cutting the cauliflower into thick slices (steaks) and roasting them until they are golden and crispy on the outside, but tender and juicy on the inside.
It’s a creative way to prepare cauliflower, turning it into a flavorful alternative to meat. The touch of seasonings like black pepper and smoked paprika, combined with olive oil, adds a depth of flavor that makes every bite a unique experience.
To elevate the cauliflower steak even further, the tahini sauce comes into play. This creamy sauce, with a slightly nutty and tangy flavor, perfectly complements the texture of the roasted cauliflower. The combination of tahini with lemon juice and a hint of garlic creates a rich and flavorful sauce, perfect for drizzling over the cauliflower steak.

Preparation:
Prepare the Cauliflower:
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (about 400°F).
- Remove the leaves and stem from the cauliflower and cut it into thick slices (about 1 to 2 cm or 1/2 to 1 inch thick) to resemble “steaks.”
